I've been looking at the different types but I don't know which one to buy. There's obviously a price difference but I'm willing to pay for the newer one if it's a lot better. Can anyone help/give advice/recommendations?

Think it depends on what you'll be using it for and how long you want it to last.

I just got rid of my series 5 Apple Watch and got a Fitbit because the battery life is terrible, you'll have to charge it every day and it's no better than a Fitbit.

Series 5&6 have the always on feature so you can always see the display. They both have the ecg sensor but the 6 has the SPO2 sensor as well.

It depends on what you'll use it for, if you don't want that much in depth fitness features the 5 or SE will be enough.

Thank you for your replies. I wear my Fitbit daily now so it's to replace that. ( I don't wear it at night though) my Fitbit is an Alta and it's starting to play up so it needs replacing that's why I was thinking of getting an Apple Watch instead. I just use it for the time, tracking steps and when I run.
