Hi, I am struggling to work out how to transfer my photos from my Huawei to my new iPhone or macbook air.

I am new to the apple mac, noticed there is no USB port so now have the cable to run my phone into the laptop, but I can't work out how to do it.

I downloaded the Huawei app for transferring pictures and it did some sort of export that took a good 10 mins but I cannot find the pictures anywhere.

Had this new iPhone for over a week now and I'm still using my Huawei because I'm scared that I lose all my pictures of my newborn son.

Aby help would be much appreciated. X

You should get a Thunderbolt to USB adaptor

Try this:

support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201196

Also for a touch of extra protection on your photos etc you can add some online hosting such as Microsoft OneDrive. Set up a free account, go to your old android, set the photos to synchronize onto OneDrive etc
Then you can put them onto CD/DVD if you have a writer etc

Don’t delete / reset the Huwai until you’re happy that you have everything
