Is there a way to play cd's through Echo Dot?

My dsis bought our parents a couple of echo dots for Xmas. I think they use them with their kindles to listen to audibooks mostly.
Their anniversary is coming up and I wondered if anyone knows if you can buy a cd/radio player that connects to Echo Dot? I did have a look at Amazon but even splitting with my dsis the £500 odd one there is way too much. I think from reading that the Echo link amp would work to plug into their dab radio or cd player and then play the cd in whichever room the dot's in?
I don't really get how the dot works and I know they don't stream music and probably wouldn't want to.
I'm hoping this problem and post make some sort of sense to someone who can help 😂

Thank you PhilCornwall1 that looks like it could work. 'll see if I can get someone to check the echo dot works with Bluetooth.

It certainly does work with Bluetooth.

could they just get a spotify or amazon music account? That way they could play whatever music they wanted?
