I can save in files but can’t edit to sign a form for school. This happens every now and then. Yes I could print off and manually sign it and send it etc but it’s a faff. Is there no way without paying for Word just sign a form and send it back?

You need something like one of these

alternativeto.net/software/cutepdf/?platform=iphone

Cute PDF is for windows and allows me to sign PDFs. Edit them...you know. The link offers alternatives for iphones.

If you share it to 'pages' then it will give an option called 'smart annotation' where you can sign it.

Thanks @FrazzledFTM I didn’t know what that was even for! How can I click and type in the info, and then sign it? So I can see how to free hand sign but how can you type?

You could screen shot it and then edit it as a photo, using the pen tool to sign?

MS Word (and the rest of Office) is free for the iPhone apps and also free for online editions You just need to create a Microsoft account which also gives you free OneDrive hosting With the free app or online editions you can edit
