How can I stop my Vista PC losing the 'no buying & selling' & 'include special needs' ticks?

My XP laptop always keeps them, but on the Vista machine I lose them - seemingly at random. I've tried every internet option that looks likely, but I still can't make it work...

We have Vista and don't have this problem

Do you have Internet Protected mode on? Maybe it's that. I'm not too keen on disabling everything in sight, as DD comes on this machine.

Ooh I don't know rusty. How can i find out?

RustyBear · 20/10/2007 12:42

It's down at the bottom right just above the task bar there's a little globe & it says Internet Protected mode On (or, presumably off) If you double click on it you get the security setting & you can turn it off, but having to keep turning it on again for DD would be more of a pain than putting the ticks in the boxes all the time...

We haven't got one that i can see.

I have had a look at the security settings and from what I can see protected mode is on.

Oh well, just have to keep clicking then...
