Smartwatches- speak slowly please!

My DH would like a smartwatch for xmas. I literally have no idea what I'm looking at! Would very much appreciate recommendations based on the following...

1. Needs to look smarter rather than sportier
2. Would be used more for work than fitness but will be used for both
3. Needs to be android compatible-.he has a Huawei phone
4. Budget is flexible.

I looked at the newest galaxy but some.reviews said it's only really worth it if you have a samsung phone.

If he has a Huawei phone, it makes alot of sense to get a Huawei smartwatch, some decent offers direct on their website plus 20% off through studentbeans...

For example the smartwatch gt2 Pro is normally £300, currently £230 and potentially £184 if you can access the a student or work discount.

(if you have children in secondary school, with a school email you can sign them up to student beans)
