screensavers for a new iPhone

Have ordered new phone to be delivered late November/early December. One I have seen is a Yok Tec which also supplies a camera protector. Could anyone advise me as to the advisability of covering the camera lens with a protector?. I have purchased a Torro wallet type case in readiness. Also welcome any advise on screensavers that you have purchased. Apparently Apple claims it’s new screen is stronger than previous phones as it is supposed to contain granite chips within it to add strength to 4 times more falling protection. Being cautious as this is a big outlay for me which I hope will last a few years. At my age may well be the last! Thank you for reading this.

I would only bother with a camera protector if I did not use a case of some description. I'd still also invest in a screen protector which cost very little despite what Apple May claim about improved screen strength. The screen is your key interface with the phone so anything you can do to protect it is recommended in my book, especially when the phone is so very expensive in the first place.
