iOS 14 problem.

Please can anyone help. Downloaded this today. Seemed strange at first as greyed out but this disappeared after putting my code in. However, it started taking me through setting it up but gave me an option to complete later in settings. The completion asked me to set up Apple Pay which I definitely don’t want. It won’t let me get past it and the iPad keeps asking me to complete the set up. There is a permanent red indicator next to settings. Wish I hadnt downloaded it. Has this happened to you and what did you do to get rid of it.would be grateful for input.

If you click on set up apple pay, it will take you to the next screen where you can click on set up later and the icon will disappear (or it did for me)

Happens most times I update OS - just click to set up and then click on set up later and the dot usually vanishes - sometimes have to do it a couple of times for it to get the memo. Siri setup usually does the same for me (I like her on selected things - not every bloody thing in the house responding to me - we have a lot of Apple stuff)

Thank you so much. I will have a go. Been hesitant as when I first got my iPhone and I was exploring the home pages I clicked on the wallet to see what it was all about. I didn’t do anything else but I got a message from the bank to say someone had set up an account. My dh rang them and they asked if I had set up Apple Pay. They told him to get me to cancel it. Can’t remember how I cancelled but I did. After that I deleted the app. So not on screen at the moment which may be a problem unless I can go into the App Store and retrieve it ! At the moment all I can get in settings is a request to add bank details although they already have them as I pay for extra storage. I love Apple but at times they give me the pip. Thank you again.
