Anyone know anything about chargers?

I got an in-car charger for my phone at the weekend, but a bit confused. It has 2 USB sockets; the packing said one is 1.4amp and one is 2amp (or something like that). But I can't see anything that says which port is which! They're not labelled.

How do I tell them apart?

Unless there is something on the charger that shows the output of each socket you can't. Plugging a device into the wrong socket won't do any harm. The worst that will happen is that the device won't charge.

The 2 amp socket will charge a device quicker than the 1.4 amp but thats the only difference. Im surprised they are not marked somewhere tho.

Thanks! I've searched everywhere on the charger, but definitely can't see any markings to indicate which is which!

Maybe some time I'll time how long my phone takes on each one and work it out from that!
