Best location app

I've read lots of reviews for lots of apps but can you tell me what android app you use as a location tracker for your child. My 11 yr old is wanting more freedom which is fine as long as I know where she is.

I use Life360 which is very good. You can add two places for free which then notifies you when a family member arrives/leaves those places.
