iPhone - password not recognised.

DM's iPhone doesn't recognise her Apple password despite me and her changing it some months back. It always seems to default to this problem.

Her iCloud password isn't recognised neither.

When we try and change them, it always asks for the password so we are stuck.

I think, somehow, she's signed in on both simultaneously and I've are unable to download anything new, unable to download latest iOS's, unable to update WhatsApp etc.

I've tried signing out, it asks for passwords! It doesn't so that on my iPhone so I'm utterly confused how to untangle this. Help!

Discaimer - I'm not an Iphone expert Smile
I don't know if this will help but just been helping a relative with her Iphone who had forgotten the pin. We ended up resetting the phone to factory condition which meant loosing anything not backed up, contacts, photos etc.
Plenty of videos on YouTube showing how to accomplish this including official Apple videos.

Thanks @Mutunus I'll take any advice and you're the only one who replied 🙈.

It seems like my email is tied into DM's account as well as her own email. I've tried and tried to separate the two (even logging into Apple to sign out) but it's not working!! 😫

I'm not sure how to access her Icloud account if you use different passwords etc when you set the phone up so be prepared to loose anything you have previously stored.
Best of luck and invoice is in the post Smile
