Stop Motion

Hi,
Can anyone please recommend a stop motion app or software for my 9 year old son. He's getting very frustrated with the Stop Motion Studuos app we have as he watches videos supposedly done by kids on YouTube and as far as I can tell, the difference is the technology (and lighting).

I've used Animate Lite and then upgraded which was only £5 - great for kids - used at school for a y9 project. Hope this helps

It seems that the app version of this is for iPhone only and we have android. I can see there's a desktop version, but the logistics of that are awkward for us.

If there are any android suggestions, I would be grateful. I should have included that in the original post. Sorry.
