Apple Mac - how do you take something off your bookmarks?

that's it really, our 'line' thing is getting full up and I want other things on it and I can't figure out how to make them go away. Thanks.

Just click on it and drag it off IIRC.

I'd tried the dragging thing but it didn't work. However, thanks Pruners, I hadn't noticed the bookmarks thing to click on - we are new to Apple. I've done it now, thanks a lot.

go to bookmarks, click on 'show all bookmarks', that should give you a menu on the left had side, click on bookmarks bar, and on the right you should now have a list. just highlight and delete the ones you don't want.

this is how i do mine, i'm using an emac with os x
