Printer is about 4 years old and I have never been able to connect it to my computer (ancient PC laptop running Windows 10) but it worked fine from my tablet using the Canon app. My tablet died, not to be replaced so am now trying to get it to print from the laptop.
I have run all the diagnostics, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on my computer, checked head alignments, nozzle function, cleaned heads, cleaned rollers etc. When I set it to print a test page from both my computer or the printer itself it makes all the printy noises but the paper comes out blank. I've been doing some research and I may have to replace the printer heads? (in which case I'm buying a new printer, and it won't be a godforsaken Canon)
Does anyone have advice to what might be causing it? Any settings I need to tweak?
With lockdown we are really suffering without a working printer! (when I say really suffering this is said in a very #firstworldproblems kind of way)
