I have an iPhone which is obviously all set up with my details. I also have an iPad of my own, again with all my details.

I have an old iPhone that I set up for the kids to use and my daughter now has her own iPad too. Everything is connected to me, so my contacts, emails, notes, messages etc all show up on her iPad and my open internet Sites.

I think it is set up as a family account. She is only 9 so can’t have her own account but is there anyway to disconnect all my things from her iPad? I don’t want her to be able to see all my things, especially around Christmas/birthdays when I might be looking at things online, have present lists on my notes etc.

I am soooooo untechy and thinking about this makes my brain ache. I’ve tried googling this and asking around but haven’t made any progress. Please help 🙏

Look at the family sharing. My kids all have their own accounts linked to mine and my husbands (which are separate)
The kids were originally all tied to my husbands account but I googled the family sharing and managed to sort it

Thanks, I’ll try. But I’m sure I looked at that before and thought I had set it up that way. I’ll have another look.

You want to turn off "enable handoff" in your settings so she doesn't get to pick up on websites you're looking at at least (I've had to do that so I don't open my websites mid-lecture at uni and get brain rotting "what unicorn are you" drivel quizzes blaring out of speakers)
