How on earth do I work this mp3 player - cant seem to get any music to play!

Hi

I've just bought a really cheap Technika mp3 player to go jogging with and I'm doing something wrong but can't see what.

I've downloaded a track onto my pc which is in my music folder, I've inserted the mp3 into my laptop and I think it's been recognised but what do I do from here to get the music onto the mp3?

I've tried using windows media but I'm getting confused as to what to put where and how to put the music file into windows media. I've copied and pasted the file onto the mp3 and when I plug the mp3 in, it shows that the music file is there but nothing seems to be playing>

Anyone now what I'm doing wrong or can anyone give me an 'idiot' guide on how to do this - I've been trying for 2 days now and it's driving me round the twist!!!!

Have you checked whether the mp3 player is
shown as a separate 'drive'?
You know where you find C: and D:, is there another drive called 'F:' when you connect the mp3 player?

i hated my technika mp3 player, was a right b*gger.

open up music in windows media player and use 'sync' i think.
