erm-is it common for the players to chat about sex and use innuendo most of the time?ive just seen some of the chat and it read more like something off of an adult chat room than an online game

is this a common thing or did i just look at a bad time??

DP who used to play it says - it is a bannable offence - if reported, so not usually too widespread. Repeat offenders can be banned/have accounts suspended by the gm (games master)

He blames it on 13yo boys.

Apparently it really isn't usually that bad.

LL-thats why i put it in geeky stuff lol,dp has just started playing it and i didnt want to say anything to him due to past issues.personally id rather watch paint dry than play a computer game but each to their own

wow = world of warcraft - online Role playing game.

Dp has stopped playing it now and moved onto LOTR as was having problems witht he WOW servers.

I agree with you over the paint drying thing - not my type of thing at all.

my dp was playing conquer online, which is a free to play one,for over a year but got bored of it and has started playing wow.

he got bored of that one just as i had got my head around him chatting to females on there(i started numerous threads about it and we had numerous rows about it).

i mentioned the cyber-sex thing in the end and got 'dont start'.i dont get why anyone would have that sort of chat on an online game,i mean,we dont have a 'cyber sex' topic on mumsnet.

mad.
