Can anyone tell me how to block email addresses on Outlook please?

Block a sender

In the message list, select a message from the sender whom you want to block.
In the Outlook menu bar select Message > Junk Mail > Block Sender.
Outlook adds the sender's email address to the blocked senders list.
Note: You can restore any of the mail that is in the Junk email folder.

Is that only on the desktop site? Can you do it on the mobile version?

Don't worry, I've worked it out I think.
I should be able to do it on my phone settings.

No I haven't. That only works if they're a contact and I want to block loads of spam emails!

They have to be stored somewhere for Outlook to recognise the address as spam.

The alternative is to list all your contacts in the whitelist and block everybody else.

Open Microsoft Outlook.
In the home tab, click the Junk drop down menu.
Then click Junk Email Options.
Navigate to the Safe Recipients tab.
Click the Add button.
Type in the email address or domain you want to whitelist, then click okay.
