Is there an online calender anywhere like the google one but not google?

We already use Google for work and I don't want to get them mixed up.

Yahoo? I think their calendar works in the same way

Actually, what I do do is use google but have different coloured calendars. So I display dh's one in one colour, my appointments in another, household stuff that needs to be done in another, and holidays in a 4th. Might that not be a better alternative?

There's a manage calendars button and you can add and display other people's calendars and multiple ones of your own.

No you can - just set yourself up your account and start a new calendar with only you with viewing/editing permission.

I know this because dh has a work one (which he shares with everyone at work) and a personal one (which he shares with me only).

And I have a personal one (shared with dh) and a general household one which only I see (because it's deathly dull to everyone else )

ok how do you set up a new calender

See the bit on the left which says My Calendars?

Click on "Add" then select "Create a New Calendar".

You then get a load of options and one of them is a sharing option.

Excellent will have a go now!
