Hotel WiFi and saved email addresses

I’ve just logged on to a hotel WiFi using my work computer and it asked me which email address I wanted to use from a drop down menu. The drop down menu contained my husband’s email addresses as well as my own (including one I didn’t know about)

My work laptop has lots of security and I’m sure he couldn’t (and wouldn’t) have used it to access the secret email account but he ha stayed in this hotel previously and also used the WiFi here.

Can anyone explain how or why my laptop would have picked up his email address in this way? Is the only answer that he has in fact used my laptop with this email address at some point? If yes that would be completely disastrous for me as it would mean he’s looked at adult material on my computer which will be a sacking offence if detected.

If that’s the case why have you told work?

If it’s just shared form data that’s showing up then no compromise has happened. Get your own gmail account, sign out of his, sorted.

I told work because my work browsing history shows these sites even though I haven’t accessed them and if that gets picked up on a routine audit and I hadn’t come clean I would definitely be fired b

I had this problem with shared google accounts as well. DP (self employed) has a work gmail account that he accesses from his phone and I access from my Ipad (I do his accounts). I also have my own gmail account.

If I forgot to switch back from his account to mine on my iPad then everything I searched came up on his phone in the history.

But that happened because I had linked my iPad with his account at some point, which means that your husband or someone must have used your work laptop to log into his account at some point. Even if they haven't actually used that machine to view porn.

Your IT dept will be able to tell which way it's happened.

When trying to connect to the Wifi, the Roku device shows you a list of all available WiFi networks. You need to pick your network and then type in the password for your WiFi. However, sometimes the WiFi might not connect or Roku players that have been working fine in the past might start showing “Not Connected” on the home screen. These devices would then give you an error code when trying to connect to your wifi. So, if your Roku is not connecting to wifi, here is a list of all Network related Error Codes followed by best practices on how to resolve the Roku Error Codes and finally resolve roku not connecting to wifi issue.
