If you have IE

View
Text size
hit 'medium'

MaureenMLove · 21/08/2007 21:31

Right, go to start and then find acsessories. From there its accessability and then magnify. Look there and youshould be able to solve it.
So thats, Start, accessories, accessability and magnify!

WanderingTrolley · 21/08/2007 21:33

Or

right click on desktop
properties
appearance
set font size to 'normal'

apply,ok

MaureenMLove · 21/08/2007 21:34

I just tried it! Its really big isnt it?!

fransmom · 21/08/2007 21:35

MaureenMLove · 21/08/2007 21:36

Oh shit! Hang on!

MaureenMLove · 21/08/2007 21:38

Doesn't it have a drop down menu which gives you a choice of sizes? Mine is set to 1, which is normal.

fransmom · 21/08/2007 21:41

fransmom · 21/08/2007 21:56

OP posts:
MaureenMLove · 21/08/2007 21:58

Won't that restore the whole pc though? I hope she doesn't loose anything else! DH has gone now, so he's no good!

WanderingTrolley · 21/08/2007 22:01

Nope - you don't lose saved documents etc.

Tis a marvellous tool when you fark up the pc by downloading some bastard thing from the internet - like Norton ffs [rant deleted] and don't want to be found out/end up headbutting the pc from frustration/wish you'd got McAfee etc.

AttilaTheMum · 21/08/2007 22:05

Before you do system restore, try looking at the display settings - sometimes they get changed to a different resolution by a program (lots of games do it ) & sometimes it doesn't change back as it should. Go to Start - Control Panel-Display (may be under Appearance & Themes)Click on the Settings tab & look at the slider labelled Screen resolution. If it's over to the left, try sliding it to the right & see if that changes it to the way you'd like.

MaureenMLove · 21/08/2007 22:06

In that case, I shall take note of what to do, in the event of emergency!

fransmom · 21/08/2007 22:16

for wt

tho i now feel like i need mo's suggestion of a magnifier!!!

fransmom · 21/08/2007 22:16
