Should be one of the menu options at the top of your screen.

sounds like IE7, as the menu does not show help as standard. A couple of questions to help you work out:

  1. do you have tabs? if so it will be IE7.

  2. do you have a menu bar that is "File, Edit , View, Favorites, Tools, Help". Normally not on IE7 (you can show, but not default), but always exist on IE6

Thank you everyone for your help. Yes there's no menu bar, so looks like version 7.

Ironically, needed to know this to do an online ECDL course. Everyone said to me "no need to do the training for someone like yourself, just do the assessments"

Then I fell at the first hurdle!
