Spotify on Surface Go

Hi - I'm looking at buying a Microsoft Surface Go to replace the ancient laptop I currently have. I won't use it for much, I have a newish work laptop for most things, and I have had an iPad in the past (now given to the DC).

But my main question is whether the Spotify app that I think would be installed on it provides the full desktop experience. My old laptop is the only thing I can use to move/arrange my many Spotify playlists as I can't download the desktop onto my work laptop and the phone app doesn't give the same functionality.

Does anyone know? Thanks in advance :)

The Spotify app in the Windows Store is identical to the desktop app that is available online, and the only major change is that Spotify will now be updated through the Windows Store. ... Microsoft's Windows 10 S variant will only support apps from the company's Windows Store
