Hi. So I'm not very tech-minded at all.

I have a samsung s9+ but everytime I transfer photos off my laptop/external hard drive to my phone half dont save, some of them dont open and some just overwrite. I think my SD card is faulty or something, I've formatted it several times.

Just wondering what you guys could suggest/recommend so I can access my photos on my phone when and as I please

I dont know if you have to pay for online storage? If you do which is the best price? How long does it take to upload the photos as have alot? Holidays, memories etc

Just want a way to have access to them when I like.

I think you need to use cloud storage to upload photos from anywhere. Have you tried to use Google cloud storage yet?

SDcards are really cheap, get a new one. You'll want microSD SDXC Class 10 U1 (or U3), 128gig will set you back under £20 and store over 20,000 photos.

Google Photos - here, have a useful link on how to use it: www.androidcentral.com/google-photos

You'll want to use both local storage and the cloud-based backup, else you'll lose all your photos when almost inevitably you have your phone die, stolen or drop it in the sea.
