My DD has had an iPhone for 3 years and not smashed the screen until 2 weeks ago. As it's out of contract I had it repaired at a local shop not an Apple store. It was £50 compared to apples £150. However since then the screen has smashed twice!! I had it repaired again at the same place for £45 as they felt sorry for me. Now tonight DD dropped it lightly and again it smashed.
Do you think we are unlucky (and careless!!) or non branded Apple screens are not as robust? Does anyone have experience of this please?
Just seems strange that it has never smashed before and is now 3 times in 3 weeks
