My old Android phone broke and I ordered a new one but in the meantime I used a super old one running version 4 (!!!)
It didn't support an app I use a lot so I didn't download that and then it backed up that phone and my new phone restored the app itself but not the database.
My Google Drive is showing that app was backed up on 4th Sept which is the last time I used it.
But there seems to be no way to get the backup from that date to manually restore.
I have instructions about what folder the backup should go into if I can get the file.
Does anyone know how to do this? Pretty please?
It seems to be similar to the "restore my Whatsapp database from a backup" problem that nobody on Google seems to be able to solve either.
