Password Protected Excel file

I (stupidly) put a password on an excel file and now can’t remember the password...... has anyone managed to hack into a password protected excel file before?

It depends on the version Excel 2007 and up you can forget it

Various companies sell password crackers but all with the warning that it takes a long time and might not work.
