I NEED to restrict myself to mumsnetting in the evening/weekends as I have no will power and I post too much during the day and want to be more productive at work.

Can anyone help me out ?

Have you got MN book marked? When I gave up for Lent I found that by removing it from my bookmark list (and thus having to actually type out MN in google) was a good mental reprimand (sort of) to say STOP...don't type it

good luck

haha. We've just got more open internet access at work, with restrictions, and I daren't type in mumsnet to see if I can get on here.

Might have some serious questions to ask as to why I'm on mumsnet when I work with high-risk offenders, lol.

This might concentrate your mind.

Oh my!!! I just started laughing so loud when I read this. It is addictive, I think.

So it's not possible then ?

I know you can restrict access for kids re porn and other unsuitable stuff and I seem to remember that you can specifically name websites to block but I can't rememner how to do it.

I'm now at work btw !

Move your screen so that eveyone can see it - worked for me when office went very open plan

Have own office isolated away from anyone else and no chance of swapping with anyone else.

god why can't the talk page look more like a word doc!

Simple but drastic

log a call with your helpdesk asking for it to be blocked on the firewall.
