We have a gaming laptop (bane of my life) and have a seagate expansion thing. All fine except it now doesn’t register on the laptop. It plugs into other laptop fine and can see it on there but not the gaming one? It plugs in fine and light comes on to show it’s plugged in, makes the bing noise to say it’s plugged in and then bings again to say it’s not plugged in?
Amazon said I can send the expansion thing back for a refund.... as only had it a few months but will buying a new one make a difference? To me it says it’s a problem with the laptop but I can’t see anything physically wrong in the socket?
