New broadband hub not connecting.

I just changed service providers from BT to EE everything should have been set up for today to change over however the Hub has been plugged in and searching for broadband now for 3 hours and it's still flashing as though it's searching .
Is there anything I can do to sort this out please use very simple words as I really do not understand technology

Just a thought, google "Setting up a EE Router" this may give you ideas. Also go into Youtube and do the same. I saw a few vids that may also help.

Ours took almost 24 hours to connect unexpectedly! Was Plusnet but I just plugged in and we waited. DH rang them at 6pm and the guy said he couldn't see anything on the system so just wait and see and ring back tomorrow if still an issue. It was fine when we woke up the next morning.

It still wasn't working this morming ( 5am )
Unfortunately with no internet at home Google and YouTube are out of the window. Tho I may try while I am at work and make notes.
I will give it till tomorrow morning if I have no joy I will be on the phone to them 🤞

The bloody thing still hasn't connected. Has anyone got a big stick I can borrow ?
