Banking app do I have to reregister?

Please can anyone tell me if now I have to reregister if I download the app. I am not technical and don’t want to go through all that again. I am hoping it will require the same information as online. Also as I find finger Id very unreliable for some reason( probably due to me) if that option is taken up can it be overridden by using the password? I sometimes have a real problem with this on my iPad.

It's quite easy in my experience. They may text you or request password to verify your identity. I also find fingerprint ID is a bit hit or miss but I can use password to login instead.

Thank you JumpingFrogs that is really helpful. Especially the finger print info as I don’t have much luck with this on my iPad. It works at first and then doesn’t respond.
