Why can I no longer logout

Just don't seem to be able to logout of messenger on i phone anymore.

It doesn't show up in security and settings next to fb being logged in. Any other ways of logging out. It is not very secure.

It decided to appear on my logged in devices again but it is temperamental

There is no facility to log out of it. However have a look at this as one of its options may help:-

I finds it works randomly.

Tonight messenger isn't showing up as a logged in app on Fb, wish it had its own option to log out- so annoying
