Seriously - it's a message

Mine's been doing this tonight! Have had to reboot the laptop and the router about 30 times. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it. (Presses Post Message button and wonders if anything will happen...)

maybe mumsnet has got a bug - it happens if I click on a nickname.

I hate computers when they start going wrong

thanks for the advice LL. Have disabled google toolbar. I have tried mozilla in the past.

Have got a PC bloke coming over tomorrow with a new monitor so will ask him to have a look at it as my knowledge is very limited.

Yes IE is pants and firefox is great - or Opera. Get a free downlaod of either!

supertrouper · 08/07/2007 22:30

OP posts:
supertrouper · 08/07/2007 22:31

why is firefox better then? and why is IE crap?

Well, for me (and techy people have explained this in ways that made me fall asleep) it just crashes all the time, doesn't cope with some pages very well (java stuff I think) and has less features such as not being able to save and manage browser sessions.

It also doesn't like me habving more than 10 tabs open.

Opera is good for all the above and Firefox too and is probably more widely compatible??
