So, do you get your codland.com emails forwarded to your gmail, and then reply via your Gmail? if so, then yes, the reply will go from your Gmail address.

Go into Settings, then Accounts and where it says "When I receive a message sent to one of my addresses:", tick "Reply from the same address the message was sent to."

You might need to add it as a new email address first (same page).

If you are using Outlook, when you compose an email you click on the Accounts button at the top, and choose the account you want to send the email from.

so you send your email via Outlook, and not by logging in to Gmail, yes?
If so, there should be an option (under Tools?) to set up a new mail account. I use OE and have three different email addresses - when i send email, I need to choose from a drop down menu which address to use.
Do you have seperate accounts within Outlook?

LittleLupin · 11/07/2007 22:52

Codster - are you sending and receiving from Outlook? and is it Outlook Express or Outlook?

If you are receiving mails from your Hotmail and your Gmail into Outlook, the accounts are already set up, and you DO have the option to select which account you reply from, honest!

ShrinkingVenomousTentacular · 11/07/2007 22:55

and the same with Outlook Express (never got the hang of Outlook)

LittleLupin · 11/07/2007 22:57

I have 7 email accounts feeding into one Outlook, it gets very confusing!

ShrinkingVenomousTentacular · 11/07/2007 23:11

I have three into OE, plus 2 gmail, and one hotmail, but I use the hotmail as a disposable "having to register with websites for marketing" addy, and my main gmail for email lists, so I've had to keep that seperate.
