pull out all the wires?

PenelopePitstops · 02/07/2007 16:09

Is it wireless enabled?

otherwise you can buy a wireless card for a laptop, or a wireless reciever for a pc and install that.

chopster · 02/07/2007 16:12

are you meaning wireless for internet? And you have jsut ordered a pc?
It's probably already got wireless built in, jsut about every pc has now.

So is a wireless receiver a USB2 cable?

No, you want a wireless router/modem if you don't already have one, then you will be ready to go.
a usb2 cable is a wire.

chopster · 02/07/2007 17:31

something like this is what you need, assuming you don't already have it. That plugs into your phone socket, then allows you to connect to the internet wirelessly.

MaccaMacca · 02/07/2007 17:35

Oh I have that exact one...so I just plug this into my new PC?

to recieve wireless on your pc you will need a wireless reciever, unless the router is near the pc so can be plugged in.

chopster · 03/07/2007 09:49

if you want wireless, and your new pc is wireless ennabled, then you plug that into your phone socket then your pc wirelessly connects to that. I have that one, and would recommend it, but you might want to shop around.
