Android phone recommendations

I think I'm going to have to buy a new phone soon. My faithful Moto G4 is slowly dying. I'm looking for an Android sim only phone with a good battery life. I've noticed that other phones (eg Samsung) seem to take better photos than mine. It didn't used to bother me in the past but it does now! Any recommendations please. Thanks.

Huawei p smart? I've got last years, only saying because they've brought out a 2019 version.
Good camera and 32gig memory.
I got this one as saw a great you tube review by a young techy type guy who said he'd probably prefer it to his 4 X the price iPhone.

Do you have a budget in mind?

Battery life is a tricky one. Do you live on your phone or use it occasionally during the day?

I went for a Nokia6. Large screen , solid body, battery lasts days but I’m an ‘occasional user’. It’s one fault is no ‘notification’ light on the front.

I really don't want to spend hundreds but I do spend a lot of time on my phone as I use it for work (emails, social media, etc) as well as personal. I do like a large screen!

I have a Huawei p20 pro and I love it. Battery life is really good and takes amazing photos. Really glad I made the jump from Apple.

The Motorola G6 seems to come up well in reviews of lower priced phones. Has anyone got one? I've been happy with my Moto G4 for the price. But if I'm upgrading, I think I'd just like a better camera and longer battery life.

Samsung s7 or s9, they didn't make many improvements in the upgrade to s8 especially for the camera. So the s7 is better value.
If you don't want to spend hundreds then the huewui (which I can never spell) is really good for the price with a very decent camera for that price range.

OK looking at Huawei P Smart or Motorola G6 (or might wait for G7) now. Don't really want to spend more than £200. Any thoughts from techy people or best of these?
