I'm at the end of my tether with the company hosting my websites and need to change to someone more reliable. Who do you recommend?

Depends what you want to do - are you looking to host PHP, ASP, just HTML, shopping carts etc???

Yes to PHP as I have a forum (although I could change to ASP if I had to), shopping carts and HTML pages with quite a lot of pictures.

So you definitely need commercial then, how much storage do you think you need?

Do you by chance have enough space with your domestic ISP??? I piggyback on their servers with domain forwarding and mostly they are pretty good. But I don't do shopping carts so I guess that may be a sticking point.

I used to use Demon and they were good if you are techie enough not to need to talk to their support staff. Their product list lives here

I currently have 200MB and that's plenty, 50 would probably do for now. I did use my ISP but kept having problems with unexpected downtime and could never get hold of them.

I don't need a lot of technical help with it, just reliable hosting.

Demon will do very nicely for you then IMHO.

I also used to use Claranet but they've gone a bit downhill recently.
