Instagram Hacked - Can't reset password

Hello

Wonder if someone can help. I had a bit of a security breach nightmare day yesterday - iCloud/Apple Account, Twitter and various other things had access attempts made on them - I have changed passwords and secured these. The one thing I can't fix is my Instagram. I have two accounts - one person for my pictures and a work one where we showcase bits and bobs. The work one got hacked and when i tried to log on it said my password was incorrect. I tried following the steps to reset and had the following issues:

1. When I tried to reset via email, I coudln't becasue the hacker has changed the email account associated with my Instagram. Fucker.

1. When I tried to reset via text to my phone, I received the text but when I click on it, it just takes me to my personal account (even though I am entering the user name of my work account). I logged out of personal account to see if that would work but it still keeps opening the non-hacked account. I suppose they are linked inasmuch as they originally shared an email address and phone number but for the purposes of resetting, my personal account is useless.

I have emailed Instagram but really - no number to call, nothing. Help please!!

No idea, but how did you email instagram? The email address that they used to have has been scrapped and I just end up going around in circles on their website. If you used the support.instagram etc one then don't expect to get a reply

Yep - just got a thingy in my inbox saying that the email support address I used is no longer in service. Have just tweeted @instagram to see if I can get any help that way but broadly, can't seem to get off this loop. So ANNOYING.

Why can't it recognise that I have requested help for account 2 not account 1. FFS. Thanks anyway @yawning801
