I have managed to download a film on to my computer, I then ask it to burn on to a dvd, I think I have completed it but it doesnt seem to work in any of my three dvd players. What did I do wrong? Surely it cant be all dvd players at fault. Very frustrated and need simple advice/instruction Pleeeeeeeease

What is the file type of the film on your computer? Am not brilliant at these things but am sure there are some types of video files that will play on your pc but will not transfer to dvd uness they are converted, could be that?

Some DVD players play DVD+RW/R, some play DVD-RW/R, some play both.
Maybe the ones you tried were all DVD- ones.

It says type: video/x-msvideo

there is some software called dvd shrink which you can download from the internet ,i dont know if maybe this would help you at all.but certainly check that you do have right disc.My burner usually will tell me which disc I need.
