Anyone else on demon? Is your mail broken?

Attempts to send to [email protected] or [email protected] all fail, PERM_FAILURE: DNS Error: Domain name not found.

Anyone else got this? I don't see it on their status pages. It's pretty recent. Demon is still working for us, as it's their broadband we're on ...

domain name not found means that the email server can't find where to send the mail to - if those are valid email addresses it probably means the server is not working properly at the moment - try again later and it should be ok.

I'm on Demon and have just done a quick test sending mail from my gmail account to my demon address and vice versa. No problems at all.

For the past couple of weeks though, it's been taking a while to send mail.

I'm on Demon broadband - no problems at this end either.... sorry!

It was down overnight, working again this morning. Very odd.

Just re-visiting this as I've been told two emails sent to me earlier this week bounced. I was receiving mail OK as far as I knew, and when I tested but there was definitely some kind of breakdown sometime.
