How do you google a specific website?

I am sure there is a way I can google just within a site like ebay (rather than the whole www) by typing the domain name in a specific way in my search term - anyone know how to do it?

Why don't you get onto ebay and then use the search option?

From Google help:

You can use Google to search only within one specific website by entering the search terms you're looking for, followed by the word "site" and a colon followed by the domain name.

For example, here's how you'd find admission information on the Stanford University site:

admission site:stanford.edu

I had done it before, but couldn't quite remember how...

TY. I managed it but didn't find what I was looking for.

I couldn't use google search as I was looking for info in the description field on completed listings. I was hoping this would have been indexed by google but it doesn't appear so.
