New phone recommendations?

I have the option to upgrade and, while I really quite like my current phone, it's getting harder to charge as I think the charging socket is a bit bodged up now. It's also behaving a bit oddly sometimes.

So I'm just having a look at my options, really. I'm not keen on Apple, I prefer android, but other than that, I just need something which makes and receives calls and texts, keeps its charge reasonably well and isn't so obscure I can never get a decent case for it.

I am really a very simple girl!! Any advice?

I love my one plus. Persuaded DH to leap from Apple and join me! He has the latest version and I'm jealous!

Easily half the price of the iPhones and comparable in performance to those and the Samsung's.

I work in telecoms and not many of us have iPhones any more!

One plus? I'm not familiar with that. DP has an apple and he's always whining about it. The camera is great, but it's so buggy as a device.

I'm toying with the idea of a Samsung because of the wireless charging.

A mate of mine who is serioulsy into his mobiles rates OnePlus phones.

At the budget end I have a Wileyfox Swift which has been very good. Last time I looked on Amazon a new Swift 2 could be had for £100 if you didn't mind it being pink, but I'm not sure about the choice of cases.

My work phone is a Samsung Galaxy A5 and I have no issues with it.

Huwawei phones are becoming very popular at the moment. Teen DS has one and I will be getting one when my current contract runs out. I've always had Samsungs.

A lot of DSes friends are swapping from Apple to Huwawei too, as they have all of the high end apple features, but are much cheaper, and a lot less breakable.
