Freeview help - we've lost Drama and loads more!

We watch Drama quite a lot but over the last few days it's so pixelated it's unwatchable. There are other channels which are like that, off the top of my head ITV 3 is affected, but ITV 3+1 isn't.

Tonight I put the tv through an auto channel scan hoping it would help, and lo! Drama no longer exists on the channel list and if we key in 20 it just says 'invalid entry'.

I don't understand! Can anyone explain this to me (and is there a way to get those channels back?).

Sorry to state the obvious but have you checked your arial. It may have moved just enough to be out of line with the transmitter. I believe you can get a signal booster that may also help. Other than that, you may need a new arial. Sorry I cant be more helpful.

Indoor aerial, I'm afraid. Not great I know but we're stuck with it.

Thanks. From that we have one main transmitter which has up to 94 FV channels, and several alternatives, only one of which is showing availability at my address - none of the others are showing anything here. The one that's working only has "up to 21 channels available", so that explains that.

Anyone got aerial recommendations? The one we have is at least 12 years oldand was v cheap as dh is a skinflint!
