Geeky stuff

I need a website that's incredibly easy and can use as a shop

in the last week Ive tried weebly/shopify/godaddy/bluepark/rocketspark/simplesite

and they're all TOO hard to use. Where I seem to fall down is uploading a picture of a product - it took me half an hour to do one earlier (for some reason in the upload it kept turning it round meaning I had to save it rotated for it to look right)
None of them are simple enough.

Does anyone have a website they sell from they would recommend? I have a normal website (not for selling, my web hoster doesn't do shopping websites)

Big cartel

Have you tried ecwid? I have heard they are relatively easy to use, but have no direct experience myself. I use Etsy, which has plenty of traffic but quite high fees

What about paying someone to do it for you?

What is your current website hosted on? If WordPress, it is easy enough to get a plug-in.

sorry, my normal website is not related to the one I want as a shop - was just trying to say I've built an easy one before that works fine :)

Big cartel - too expensive - there will be hundreds of products (going to bring together artists and craftspeople so hopefully will be loads)
Ecwid is for people who already have a website

I don't want to pay anyone (yet) as I don't know if it will work - I want to make one, put some products on from people I know and see if its possible. All the ones I've tried from the list are lovely and cheap to host/run (my domain name is available)

its just the actual designing the text, headers, uploading images thats a real struggle - even though the websites trumpet themselves as super easy to make

@LarieFairyCake try wix.

My 9 year old set up a web shop on it. And it looks easy to use.

WIX is pretty easy, and you can choose to upgrade to your own domain address if you wish, plus purchase plugins. Depending on what you sell, sometimes hosting sites like etsy or NOTH aren't too bad as they're easy to use, though obviously not your own unique site.

Really? I read the subject line and popped in right away to say Weebly. I’m no technical person, but I can use a mouse to pick and drag - that’s how to set up. You could even just choose one if the multiple template they gave.
I can type into a table - that’s as simple as it is to enter all the items you have for sake in the shop. If you’re good at spread sheets, you could simply upload. I’m not so I type my goods in.

Perhaps you need to watch the tutorials.
