Computer program to organise client information?

I need a simple, cheap, easy to use program to organise clients that I visit about once every three months. I need to be able to search by name, by location, and by date they were last visited, and be able to print a report saying what happened at the visit. I also need it to keep a history of visits and exactly what happened at each visit.

Any ideas? I use a computer all the time but mainly for email and gaming, this sort of thing is pretty new to me.
