Ds ipad was charging when he thinks there was a powercut overnight. Now seems to be stuck on the red battery screen. Any ideas as to how to revive it if possible please? Apple lead and plug seem fine with iphone.

I presume you’ve turned it off and on again?Smile

Try YouTube.

I've saved my iPhone so many times from frozen screens etc from searching on there.

Ds is away at uni so not seen it myself, I've suggested he reboot it but think he may well have already tried off-on button.

Hold the middle button and the lock button down at the same time, this should work!

Further problems now. Charged up last night but while charging would only show the Charging bar screen. Left off overnight but now won't restart. Any advice please?

Same as last time. Hold the power and home button until you get an Apple logo.

Once it's up, make sure to apply the latest software update from Apple.

If it doesn't come up, it's probably buggered. Warranty?

LIZS · 19/10/2018 11:59

Its 4/5 years old so out of warranty.
