DM has bought DD a Kindle Fire for her 6th birthday. Can anyone recommend things to put on it? So far I've added CBeebies play island thing, BBC iPlayer for kids, and a Lego app. Free or cheap would be best!

Have you got the Amazon kids apps on it?

Some fab apps, books and things to watch on there.

I'd also recommend Hexblox, cooking fever and piano tiles.

All free

I pay for amazon kids profile. It's £1.99 a month and for that they can access pages and pages of books, children's apps and videos. You can add any purchased content you want. I love it because they have no access to any apps that charge money or the internet unless I let them look something up.

Roblox? Not very educational but all the kids love it. Just try and ensure the privacy settings are very strict as it is an online multiplayer game..Another one my kids adored for a while was Monument Valley (and MV2). Absolutely gorgeous mind puzzle which I would play if I had the time!

My 6year old daughter has beauty/dress up games, colouring games and jigsaw games. Putting a simple search in normally finds them quite easy all have been free to install. Depending what she is into can search different characters which have some games as well... such as Peppa pig, talking ton, strawberry shortcake etc. I've put all her games into one folder so just has to click on that and everything she is allowed to go on is in on place
