Laptop burning my leg!

Is this normal or just my laptop getting too hot? I let it run down before putting it back on charge then unplug it when it's fully charged, but when it's charging it burns my leg through my clothes. I'm now using it resting on a cushion

In a few minutes when i go to bed,i will sling it over my shoulder and tuck it in next to dp

I use it sometimes to stiffle his snoring but it doesn't really work.

Stick an ovary up each nostril and the rest in his mouth - that'll do it.

Right I'm off to bed now. I am going with pictures in my head I would rather not have, but will think sweet thoughts as I drift off to try and compensate. If I dream of loose wombs I'll come looking for you .
