Blocking emails

I'm in a situation where I need to block emails in Hotmail/outlook. I am totally non tech and also have a brain injury so struggle with instructions. Is there an easy way to do this?

If you google "How to block emails in Outlook" you will get many options on how to do it. They are easy to follow.
