Can I use a handset bought in Spain here?

I can´t seem to find out the answer to this as when I google it google thinks I want to know about roaming, which I don´t.

I have just moved back to the UK. I have a reasonably ok phone I was using in Spain (contract ended).

Can I just get a SIm deal from somewhere like giffgaff and keep using the same handset.

Yes, as long as it wasn't locked to one network.

If it is locked you can get an unlock code from ebay for a few pounds. Don't pay some shop £20+ to do it.

Thanks. I don´t really have any idea whether it was locked or not TBH but I suppose I will find out when I put the sim in.

What would I search for on ebay in case Bombardier? Model of phone?

Yep, unlock code and the phone model. Check the seller reviews, use an established one. I'd tell you who I used but can't find the transaction.
